Happy Flashback Friday! In honor of our road trip back west we're having a Flashback Friday, today. This is the trip that started the idea for our blog.  It seemed only appropriate to title our first travel blog post West Texas Here we Come.

Up next was How Many Miles to Alpine? If you're curious the answer is a lot!  Just kidding but be sure you alway have plenty gas. Maybe now Eric can finally laugh about the time we only had 7 miles left on the tank!?

Then the reason for the trip Big Bend or Bust! Still 5 months later we're still talking about the scenery we took in at Big Bend and our road trip to anyone who will listen. If you've never been you should go! It has made us want to visit more National Parks. If you're in need of summer ideas check out the National Parks website they have tons of information.

And today, like our last west Texas road trip post, we are On the Road Again! Only this time we're headed to Houston! And I have no doubt this trip will also have another Bu-cee's stop before we head home.
